Tourist Visa Application to Chile
Start the process early at https://tramites.minrel.gov.cl/
Determine if you need a visa:
Check the Chilean consulate or embassy website to see if citizens of your country need a visa to enter Chile for tourism purposes.
Required documents:
- Passport with at least six months' validity beyond your intended stay.
- Completed visa application form.
- Passport-size photos.
- Proof of travel arrangements (round-trip flight reservation, invitation letter from a host in Chile: request to mailto:romina@econgress.cl). To request the letter invitation, please send the following information:
- Full name
- Passport number
- Place of work or study
- Country City
- Name of the paper you will present (If applicable)
- Proof of accommodation (hotel reservation).
- Proof of financial means (bank statements, proof of employment, etc.).
- Travel insurance.

For citizens of China, India, and Dominican Republic who are a holder of a visa issued by the US (all types except Visa C) with at least 6 months of validity, or Green Card, The Chilean VISTUR is not needed
